His career spans engineering and executive roles at industry leaders such as GE HealthCare, Intuitive Surgical, Stryker Endoscopy, Varian Medical Systems, Ventana Medical, and GE Lighting, where he contributed to product design, systems integration, quality assurance, global regulatory compliance, and manufacturing strategy within complex, highly regulated environments.
During his six years at GE HealthCare, Mircea supported the corporate M&A integration team, producing technical diligence reports and assessing acquisition targets for strategic fit — across both hardware and software — to guide post-acquisition product roadmap alignment. He has led multidisciplinary teams and directly interfaced with the FDA during audits, formal responses, and product/process testing clarification efforts, giving him a rare fluency in regulatory risk management and commercialization pathways.
In parallel to his technical career, Mircea has underwritten and executed over one million square feet of multifamily and commercial real estate developments across Silicon Valley and other U.S. markets. His work in entitlement strategy, rezoning, feasibility analysis, capital structuring, and public-private collaboration gives him a uniquely practical edge in evaluating ventures that span both innovation and infrastructure.
